
This happened to me earlier this year when I wanted to buy a new hoover and rather than just go out and buy one like I would have done before I started getting old, I decided to thoroughly research my options first. So I subscribed to Which? consumer magazine, intending to just take advantage of the cheapo introductory offer and then cancel my subscription once I had the vacuum cleaner.
After intensive Which?ing, I plumped for one of their best buys, a Miele compact model. Then I called my dad and discovered he too had just bought the new Miele compact model after researching in Which?
I’m never going to cancel that subscription, am I?
